Shiroi Koibito

I was at my uncle's house during CNY when I saw a box of Japanese confectionery named "Chocalat Blanc et Langue du Chat". Langue du Chat? Such elegant cookies, I thought. So I took the last pack in the box, tore it open...

Individually-wrapped packs of Shiroi Kobito (pictures taken from their website)

A layer of white chocolate, sandwiched by two thin, white, delicate-looking biscuits. I gingerly took a bite...

And oh boy I was sent spiralling into a high. I absolutely adore the crisp, fragrant langue du chat cookies. The creamy texture of the white chocolate filling surfaced next... love how the perfect ratio of biscuit to filling blended into perfect harmony.

Someone help me. Does anyone know where I can get this in Singapore? Thanks ;)

  2. Hey reiz & stargirl, they don't retail Shiroi Kobito in nippon-ya. Similar products yes but not the Shiroi Kobito brand. The staff told me Shiroi Kobito doesn't do exports, but sometimes you can spy them at Isetan fairs.
